Her artistic practice examines pop culture in depth, focusing on its aesthetics, socio-political implications, collective memory, nostalgia, and the complex interplay of cultural data. Her body of work spans a range of mediums, including opera, orchestral works, chamber music, and video art.

As a composer and curator, Clemens K. Thomas tells stories and negotiates burning questions of our time. Recurring motifs in his works are the processing of our everyday media and the nostalgic transfiguration of the past.
